| ABOUT REMARK |
ReMark was created in 2012 following a chance meeting at a jam night. Mark and Bex soon realised they had common musical interests and that they could (mostly) work together without murdering each other. Quickly scoring some repeat bookings in a number of venues, they were off and running. They have run a number of jam nights and perform both as a duo and as a band, along with some of their favourite people, known as The ReMark Band (or ReMarkable!). The aim was to perform one or two gigs a month, but they are over 300 and counting, so must be doing something right!
They have worked with various agents, such as Pulling Strings, Platinum and Actz and gigs have been as varied as birthday parties, romantic Valentine's dinners, weddings and school social evenings! Not to mention rock venues and open air festivals.
Duo gig songs are largely upbeat and cover anything from Abba and Blondie to KC and the Sunshine Band. As a band, they tend to rock it up a bit more with numbers from AC/DC to Zeppelin and everything in between.
